6th Singapore Anaesthesia Refresher Course (SARC 2023) is organized by International Conference Services Ltd. (ICS) and will be held from Sep 16 - 17, 2023 at Academia - Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Singapore.

Theme: “Empowering Change: People, Planet, Practice”

SARC is a biennial conference organized by the Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists (SSA). This year it is being held alongside the KK Hospital Obstetrics Anaesthesia Symposium (KKOAS) and Asian Society of Paediatric Anaesthesia (ASPA) on the 16th and 17th of September 2023 at the Academia. Our scientific committee has organized a comprehensive and clinically relevant program. Through this concise program, you will be updated on the latest standards and innovations in anesthesia, intensive care, and pain medicine. Lectures, symposia, and workshops will encourage interaction between participants and ensure all participants find something useful and practical to take home for their own practice

Challenging times require fresh solutions, at this crucial juncture in history when we are facing unique challenges of climate change, disruptive technology, and a paradigm shift in the concept of perioperative medicine, SARC 2023 aims to address all of these topics and more.

We are bringing together some world-renowned speakers and the specialty’s most forward-thinking minds to give you a review of the most pertinent topics in anesthesia, intensive care, and pain medicine today, and to share their vision of the anaesthesiologist’s role in the future.  

For the first time in 4 years, the SARC will be held in person, with the aim of delivering impactful networking opportunities for participants to connect with industry leaders and peers from the region and the rest of the world. We are also proud to announce the inclusion of two pre-conference workshops.

On 15th September we will showcase the latest advances in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and on the 14th & 15th a Point of Care Ultrasound workshop (POCUS) accredited by the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).
