OVERVIEW

North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) Regional NET Education: the Multidisciplinary Management of NET Disease is organized by North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) and will be held on Jun 10, 2023 at Cleveland, Ohio, United States of America.

Description:
Neuroendocrine tumors (NET) have been diagnosed more frequently in the past ten years but are still considered rare.
Because this is a rare condition, many clinicians do not know how to implement a care plan. Treatment was also very variable until the past ten years. The management, diagnosis, and treatment of NETs are time-consuming and complex. It also requires a multidisciplinary strategy. Many healthcare providers' knowledge and experience are inadequate to manage NET disease effectively.

NET research is evolving, with new drugs and treatment modalities being approved. Experts in the field have also continued to develop strategies for improving the diagnosis, treatment, and management of NET tumors. By bringing together professionals from oncology and gastroenterology to pulmonology and surgery to radiology, we can increase our understanding of NET disease and provide better patient care..
