Course Summary:
Learn to practice prosthetically-driven implantology. This 16 CE course is a combination of lecture, hands-on, and virtual teaching modalities.
Course Overview:
• Prosthetically-driven protocols
• Discussion and showing different prosthetic options
• Tissue training
• Impression techniques
• Restorative parts and pieces nomenclature and differentiation
• Several and various restorative procedures on lifelike models in anticipation of patient treatment
Course Objectives:
• Learn about modern implant restorative techniques.
• Become knowledgeable on the restorative kit for use in creating prostheses.
• Understand how to guide soft tissue healing and manipulate tissue to assure long-term health.
• Design cases that have optimal occlusal forces to avoid damaging overload.
• Be familiar with and be able to teach patients their role in implant maintenance to help avoid failure.
• Know the best techniques for impressions that provide accurate results.
• Use treatment on life-like models to become proficient with the same treatment on patients.
