Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification Review Course is organized by CHI Health and will be held on Nov 03, 2023 at CHI Health Lakeside Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska, United States of America.

Purpose: 
To prepare experienced labor and delivery nurses to take the fetal monitoring certification exam by reviewing advanced fetal monitoring concepts.

Objectives: 
• Identify the monitoring equipment used in both fetal heart rate and rate and uterine contraction monitoring. 
• Review the physiological mechanisms impacting the fetal heart rate, uterine activity and fetal oxygenation. 
• Define fetal heart rate patterns, methods of interpretation and interventions. 
• Discuss the common complications of the pregnant client and their impact on fetal heart rate.
• Review the adjunct fetal assessment tools used. 
• Identify the legal aspects of electronic fetal monitoring.
