Diagnosing and Treating Periodontal Disease is organized by Perio Institute and will be held from Jan 21 - 22, 2023 at Miami, Florida, United States of America.
Course Overview:
There is nothing traditional or old-fashioned about this approach to treating periodontal disease. We'll concentrate on several treatments for managing and treating periodontal disease, from the least intrusive to complete flap and osseous recontouring techniques. Learn why and how to consistently and regularly treat 5, 6, and 7 mm pockets in general dentistry.
This practical course will make diagnosis and treatment planning clear so that general practitioners may feel comfortable with the many sorts of treatments and the likelihood that these strategies will be effective.
This course includes a variety of practical exercises, numerous case studies, live video demonstrations of surgical procedures, and more. The full-day session provides the chance to put these techniques into practice while performing pocket removal and osseous reduction on both pig jaws and anatomically accurate models.
The training aims to improve patients' long-term success by improving diagnostic and treatment planning abilities.
Course Objectives:
Participants will better learn to:
• To diagnose and treat osseous defects
• The role of occlusion in causing and controlling disease
• Minimally invasive antimicrobial methods
• Treatment choices – from non-surgical to surgical
