Cone Beam CT for the Dental Practitioner is organized by Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine (NSUCDM) and will be held from Mar 04 - 05, 2023 at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States of America.

Course Description:
This course on Cone Beam CBCT is a didactic and clinical hands-on course to introduce the participants to the principles of CBCT, its applications in dentistry, Potential Risks and Liabilities of using CBCT and Reporting the findings in these scans.

The course content will include reviews of:
The biological effects of ionizing radiation and radiation dosimetry
Review of normal anatomy in CBCT scans
Image interpretation, maxillofacial pathology and applications
Reporting of findings in the image data
Medical legal issues and risk management

As well, each participant will gain experience in reviewing scan cases and reporting the findings using a Reporting software called EasyRiter. A 30-day trial of the software will be provided.
