Enjoy the fall weather in Ann Arbor while honing your sports medicine skills and discussing evidence-based primary care topics. We plan to offer both in-person and virtual options for this conference. Attending the course in-person will grant you exclusive access to your choice of breakout sessions and allow you to participate in hands-on workshops for joint exams. You may register for one, two, or all three days. Sports medicine themes will be addressed on Wednesday, October 5th with a full array of primary care topics during the remainder of the conference. Pediatric themes will be highlighted during Thursday afternoon, October 6th. This course will also help you meet the new state of Michigan requirement for healthcare professionals to receive training on implicit bias. After completing this activity, participants will be able to correctly implement new guidelines for evaluation of microhematuria and prescribe SMART for patients with asthma

Learning Objectives:
• At the end of this activity, participant should be able to:
• Choose appropriate treatment modalities for patients with knee and hip osteoarthritis.
• Recognize skin issues in athletes.
• Apply new AUA guidelines for the evaluation of microhematuria.
• Utilize SMART for management of asthma.
• Differentiate types of female sexual dysfunction.
• Formulate a plan to reduce the negative effects of implicit bias on patients.
