Hearing Aids: The Inside Track Current Trends in Hearing Aid Technology, REM, and Management of Non-Routine / Complex Hearing Loss is organized by Anne Davies Audiology Courses and will be held from Jul 12 - 14, 2022 at The Hayes Conference Centre, Alfreton, England, United Kingdom.

Overview:
This collaboration between manufacturers focuses on the latest developments in hearing aid technology, best practices in REM measurements, and management of people with complex or non-routine hearing loss. All audiologists are welcome to take this course, but senior Audiologists and HADs will find it particularly interesting if they wish to increase their knowledge about the latest trends and emerging technology.

This course will cover open fittings, compression strategies, prescriptive formulae and protocols, speech mapping and test-box measurements, verification and speech tests, as well as connectivity. The course will include new talks on telecare and e-health as well as the internet of everything, ear-to-ear processing, rechargeable devices, and ear-to-ear monitoring.

Advanced practice is covered for complex hearing loss conditions, including asymmetrical or single-sided deafness, profound and difficult hearing losses, and non-standard audiogram configurations. The course will also cover key principles of hearing loss rehabilitation.

This event is an opportunity to learn about new developments in hearing aid technology and discuss best practices and clinical implications.

This course is for adults who need to use hearing aids. This course does not address service management or pediatric provision.
