Blended Intensive Abdominal Ultrasound Course

Blended Intensive Abdominal Ultrasound Course is organized by University of Sharjah Clinical and Surgical Training Center (UOS CSTC) and will be held on Sep 21, 2022 at University of Sharjah - Medical and Health Sciences College Campus, Sharjah City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Course objectives:
The course will introduce fundamental sonography theory including terminology and equipment. It will provide a study of the clinical applications of abdominal sonography, including positioning and scanning protocol-specific pathology and clinical symptomatology, will be covered as they relate to the sonographic appearance of these structures. Interpretation and critique of normal and abnormal anatomy with a correlation of clinical, didactic, and image information will be presented. Lectures will focus on the aspects mentioned above as well as on how to collect patient information relevant to the different ultrasound studies and how to correlate With the sonographic findings.

The course will allow you to utilize your skills and knowledge to provide superior care to your patients. The course will cover the following topics: liver, gall bladder, biliary tree, spleen, Pancreas, kidneys, male and female pelvis, and abdominal vasculature. The course will offer and deliver a high standard of clinical education for the doctors to allow Them to do and interpret the ultrasound examination in conjunction with the clinical findings, which will help them properly and quickly manage their cases.
