Course Overview: 
This is a brief overview of Ceramic Materials to restore Both Natural Teeth and Dental Implants, with a focus on High-Quality Ceramics as well as Complete Contour Zirconia Materials.

Description:
This is a look at the range of ceramic materials to repair natural teeth and dental implants, with a particular emphasis on high-strength porcelains and full-contour zirconia. Physical properties will be addressed in order to identify the different types of materials and to understand the reasons behind the clinical use of these materials. The concepts of tooth preparation will be addressed in order to ensure optimal physical properties in the restoration. The decision between traditional adhesive bonding and cement will be explained as a base to ensure the long-term viability of the restoration. Evidence from studies and clinical examples will be discussed to explain and demonstrate the various materials and suggested applications in clinical practice for adhesive ceramics as well as all-zirconia restorations.

Learning Goals:
At the end of this CE course, the participants will be able to:
• Identify the latest high-strength, durable ceramic materials, as well as full-contour zirconia
• Define the guidelines for tooth preparation and recommends for maximum clinical success
• Provide information about traditional and adhesive cementation techniques and methods to optimize the clinical benefits of ceramic restorations using ceramic.
• Provide current research that supports the long-term efficacy and clinical limitations of contemporary ceramic restorations.
