9th Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP) Provider Course is organized by the University of Sharjah Clinical and Surgical Training Center (UOS CSTC) and will be held from Oct 26 - 27, 2022 at the University of Sharjah - Medical and Health Sciences College Campus, Sharjah City, Sharjah, United Arab, Emirates.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
CCrISP can be described as an active program that will help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge to care for patients undergoing surgery as well as those who are getting worse or are at risk of developing. The expert faculty will assist you to develop your theoretical, practical, and personal abilities so that you can evaluate and deal with difficult situations in a systematic manner. CCrISP is applicable to any specialty. However, in-course cases are usually drawn directly from patients who are general surgeons.
Content of the course:
Ccrisp offers an active course that focuses on the knowledge and skills needed to care for patients undergoing surgery and those in danger of becoming so. Our expert faculty will assist you to develop your practical, theoretical, and personal abilities so you can evaluate and deal with difficult situations in a systematic method. Ccrisp is useful to all areas of expertise. However, in-course examples are mostly obtained directly from patients who are general surgeons.
You will be able to participate in a range of hands-on classes during the course, which include:
• Assessment and learning of a system for those who are seriously sick
• Understanding the subtlety and range of the critical illness symptoms, and ways to enhance the likelihood of detecting it
It is important to understand that it's important to stay clear of any complications when they are
• Recognizing the surgeon's role in providing multidisciplinary care to patients who undergo surgery
• Interacting with nurses as well as additional surgeons, intensivists, and anesthetists.
• Giving the information and support patients and their family members need during their surgical treatment
Learning results:
After completing this course, you will be competent to:
• Implement a systematic and comprehensive approach to treating surgical patients
• Determine which patients are most at risk and make plans to decrease their chance of having adverse outcomes
• Recognize the patient's condition is declining.
• Practice your non-operative technical abilities in a secure environment
