2022 RDAEF Expanded Duties Program is organized by Loma Linda University School of Dentistry (LLUSD) and will be held from Jul 05, 2022, to Jun 04, 2023, at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Loma Linda, California, United States of America.

Class Times:
Sundays: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch period)
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Description:
This all-encompassing RDAEF curriculum, which the Board has approved, consists of 410 hours of instruction for RDAs and 318 hours of education for RDAEFs already in operation. It meets the standards of the California Dental Board for new and existing RDAEFs who desire to expand their licensing in preparation for achieving certification in the new extended functions. It combines didactic, hands-on laboratory, and real patient clinical experiences.

This RDAEF Expanded Course will be taught as a series of three individual courses (modules), each of which must be satisfactorily completed in a predefined order within a certain time frame to move on to the next step of the process, which is taking the new State Board Examination. There will be a variety of modules available for purchase individually, and the sessions will take place in the evenings and on Sundays to accommodate the schedules of working adults.

For participants to be eligible for the state board test, the program requires them to earn a passing grade of at least 75% on each of the three modules they must complete.
