2022 Annual Meeting of the Florida Radiological Society (FRS) & Florida Radiology Business Management Association (FRBMA)  is organized by the Florida Radiological Society (FRS), Florida Radiology Business Management Association (FRBMA) and will be held from Jul 15 - 17, 2022 at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, Amelia Island, Florida, United States of America.

• Diagnostic Radiology Program:

Target Audience
This informative CME activity is specially designed as a hands-on training session for diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy physicians, as well as their business managers. It should also aid radiologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and other physicians who supervise and interpret these tests.

Description:
FRS and FRBMA's 2022 Annual Meeting will be focused on long-term strategies to compete and succeed in the US radiology market. There will also be an emphasis on past trends and expected practice in 2022. The theme for this year's meeting is "The Evolution of Radiology: Then, Now and the Future." The inaugural FRS Foundation Fundraiser will be held on Friday morning. It will include a Beach Fun Run and Walk. Friday night brings more fun as members and exhibitors gather for the popular Wine and Cheese Reception. We are grateful to the FRS/FRBMA exhibitors for their support and would appreciate the chance to personally thank them. You will have additional opportunities to meet the exhibitors Saturday, as there will be a breakfast and coffee break in the Exhibit Hall. Lunch with them allows for further discussion and interaction.

Target Audience
This didactic symposium is well-designed to be a hands-on learning experience for radiation oncologists in academic and community settings.

Description:
Residents and attending faculty will present at the Radiation Oncology session. The session will include presentations on important topics such as the changing role of radiation therapy for hematologic malignancies and the use of proton therapy to treat skull-based malignancies. Prostate cancer disparities in precision medicine era. Creative problem-solving in GYN Brachytherapy. A review of the alternative payment model for radiation oncology will also be included.

After completing this didactic symposium, attendees should be better able to:
• Learn more about the current role of radiation therapy in the treatment of hematologic cancers.
• Recognize the essence of high-dose conformal proton radiation in the treatment of skull-based cancers.
• Determine the causes of prostate cancer inequalities in the era of precision medicine.
• Think beyond the box when it comes to GYN brachytherapy.
• Get the most up-to-date information about the alternative payment model for radiation oncology.
