Description:
This presentation will review the current technology, application and practical approach which allows the treatment of Full Mouth Rehabilitation to be performed by all clinicians who want to be the best. Together with Implants, Aesthetics and Occlusion as the foundation of any restoration, these techniques will be demonstrated with many case presentations. CAD/CAM technology has the advantage of reducing clinical chair-time and reducing laboratory costs. The accuracy of these techniques has improved to the point where they are now comparable to conventional techniques. This presentation will review the current technology, which allows the fabrication of anterior and posterior implants and crowns utilizing various digital intra-oral systems. In addition, these techniques can also be used to fabricate implant restorations. Utilizing a scan bodies & temporary abutments without a fixture level impression, this can allow us to design ideal abutments with the best emergence profiles for implants. Setting up each case with ideal 2-Dimensional designs will be discussed and then converting the ideal facial analysis to 3-D Smiles using SMILE-Wax-up and PMMA provisionals. In addition, working with CBCT scans, we can analyze OVD for our patients and transfer that information through to final Full Mouth Rehabilitation (FMR). Occlusion principles will be discussed as they relate to new materials and their application in private practice.
