This course will enable you to:
• Understand basic medical aspects of common systemic diseases, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, neurologic, and immunologic diseases and how they impact on our anesthesia options. • Review common and some uncommon medical and anesthetic emergencies that may occur in the office. • Provide oral sedation techniques specific for the oral surgery practice. • Review management protocols of common medical emergencies that may occur in the office via actual case-based scenarios.
