2021 Hybrid Southern California Society of Gastroenterology (SCSG) GI Symposium is organized by Southern California Society of Gastroenterology (SCSG) and will be held from Jun 11 - 13, 2021 at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, California, United States of America. This Symposium is also available as Virtual.

Target Audience:

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses involved in the care of patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Credit Designation:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the New Mexico Medical Society (NMMS) through the joint providership of the Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services (RMCHCS) and the Southern California Society of Gastroenterology (SCSG). RMCHCS is accredited by NMMS to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

RMCHCS designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) ™. Physicians should claim only the credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

?MOC Designation:

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 10.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.

Description:
The symposium will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to receive a comprehensive update on gastrointestinal disorders from nationally renowned faculty. You will also have the opportunity to interact with colleagues, our expert faculty members, and industry representatives.

Statement of Need :
The goal of this program is to provide important clinical and scientific data on the management of gastrointestinal disorders.

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be better able to:
• Describe current guidelines for the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders
• Employ an evidence-based approach to the management of gastrointestinal disorders
• Identify new advances presented at 2021 DDW and assess their potential impact on clinical practice
