Description:
The practice and scope of dentistry in New York state, as well as the rest of the country, is slowly changing. Dentists are extremely well trained in facial anatomy and the administration of anesthetic injections. There has been a slow shift over the years for dentists to expand their scope into using injectables such as Botox and fillers to treat their dental patients. This course will be an overview of how to implement these injectables into a dental practice. Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will learn:
• Key elements of a proper consultation
• Review of facial anatomy
• Pharmacology of injectables
• Key applications of injectables in a dental practice
