Conference Description:
The theoretical part provides an overview of laparoscopic hernia surgery, indications and contraindications of surgical techniques, suture and nodal techniques, umbilical hernias and incisional hernias, complications and pitfalls. In addition to a live transmission from the OR, intensive practical exercises on preparations and avital pig are performed under the guidance of experienced surgeons, who are the focus of the course. Target group: Physicians who have experience with laparoscopy and now want to start with laparoscopic hernia surgery.
