OVERVIEW

2019 Spring Leadership Seminar is organized by College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (COD-ABPD) and will be held from Apr 04 - 06, 2019 at The Redbury New York, New York City, New York, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 9 CE hours.

Conference Description:
For teams to deliver remarkable customer experiences that are in line with your brand promise, leaders must create a work environment where employees will thrive. This requires not only good systems and structure to support daily operations, but that leaders themselves set the tone for positive team interactions, mutual care and respect, and accountability. In dental practices, the leaders – the dentists and practice managers – must be at the heart of building those teams and empowering them to deliver great patient experiences.

What makes this even more challenging is that in fast-paced, high-stress environments, the quality of interpersonal dynamics can quickly erode, and will ultimately impact the quality of your patients’ experiences. Patients know when teams are high-functioning and when they are all getting along. They also know where there is stress and tension – and it impacts how they feel about your brand.

In this workshop, Susan Reilly Salgado, Ph.D., will share insights about the role of leaders in crafting organizational culture through caring leadership, emphasizing the qualities of leaders that have the most impact on teams. Then she will focus on key strategies for delivering great customer service in conjunction with the quality care we offer our patients. Susan’s expertise resides at the intersection of organizational culture, leadership, and customer experience. The goal of our workshop is to understand the role that dentists must play as leaders of their teams, to create a positive and uplifting work environment where employees will thrive, thereby bringing out the best in each individual, and fostering the best possible patient experiences.

The content falls into three segments to facilitate the schedule of the retreat:

Module 1: The role of leaders in creating a culture of hospitality (3 hours)
Module 2: Strategies for creating remarkable patient experiences (3 hours)
Module 3: Best practices in holding team members accountable to high standards while maintaining a caring culture (3 hours)

Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
