Course Description :
The Cardiac arrhythmias, particularly atrial fibrillation, affect many patients and are a common clinical problem encountered in daily practice. However, as a result of recent advances in basic and clinical research and development of new technology, our understanding of the mechanisms of arrhythmias and management strategies rapidly evolve. The goal of this course is to present and discuss recent advances in the management of cardiac arrhythmias with primary care physicians, internists and cardiologists.

Conference Objectives are :
• Learn more about recent advances in treatment options in patients with atrial fibrillation and how to select patients for appropriate therapy.
• Better understand the new guidelines for anticoagulation in patients with atrial fibrillation.
• Learn about management strategies if patients with PVCs and ventricular tachycardia.
• Indentify patients appropriate for leadless implantable devices, ICD and cardiac resynchronization therapy.
• Learn more about management of sleep apnea and arrhythmias.
