OVERVIEW
Pathobiology for Investigators, Students, and Academicians (PISA) - Molecular Mechanisms of Disease: Tissue Homeostasis, Immune Responses, and Cancer is organized by American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP) and will be held from Oct 20 - 22, 2018 at University Of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States of America.
PISA is aimed at delivering attendees the most exciting and up-to-date concepts in pathogenesis and translational medicine. World acclaimed scientists in these areas will deliver lectures, while experienced members of the program committee will moderate discussion during these sessions to generate a cordial, collegial and contemporary environment for learning and networking. The meeting format will be personal, similar to that of Gordon or Summer FASEB research conferences. Furthermore, the PISA meeting is a great forum for submitting abstracts as there are ample opportunities for trainees and junior investigators to give oral poster presentations in the form of short 3- minute talks that will be included between invited lectures as well as multiple opportunities for abstract-driven talks. Poster sessions will be held in an open atrium directly outside of the auditorium, creating an intimate setting for intellectual exchange and constructive comments, especially for trainees and junior faculty.
Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
