Mastering Adult Minimal Sedation: Inhalation and Oral Sedation in Dentistry is organized by University of Washington (UW) School of Dentistry and will be held during Apr 06 - 08, 2018 at The Mountaineers, Seattle, Washington, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is for all dental professionals interested in providing minimal sedation in their office. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 21 continuing education credits.
Course Description:
This two-part hands-on course offers instruction in all aspects of nitrous oxide/oxygen inhalation, including effective methods in dealing with anxiety control in general practice. Participants will learn various techniques and will have the opportunity to try several types of systems.
This two-part course is designed to meet the criteria, standards and guidelines of the American Dental Association, the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, the Alberta Dental Association and College, Royal College (Ontario), and the Association of the Canadian Faculties of Dentistry, for the teaching and administration of nitrous-oxide and oral sedation. Part 1 (Friday) focuses on adult minimal oral sedation and Part 2 (Saturday and Sunday) is designed to focus on nitrous oxide/oxygen sedation.
