Course Description ;
This course will help attain a safe working environment for dental health care workers, patients, and staff. An overview of the goals and objectives of infection
prevention will be established. A focus on the classification of materials and instruments will allow you to make decisions on how each should be handled. Types
of disinfectants and different methods of sterilization will be described. New information on sepsis awareness and training is included. Lastly, individual protocols for common dental set up and break down will be described to simplify the process of appropriate infection control.
Results:
You will learn to establish protocols within your office to prevent the spread of infectious disease. Infection Control is required for New York State relicensure
