California Association of Neurological Surgeons (CANS) Annual Meeting 2018

California Association of Neurological Surgeons (CANS) Annual Meeting is organized by California Association of Neurological Surgeons (CANS) and will be held during Jan 12 - 14, 2018 at U.S. Grant Hotel, San Diego, California, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is physicians, residents and allied health professionals who include neurosurgery in their practice. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 12.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Learning Objectives :

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
• Describe the final MACRA rule including MIPS, APMS, and reporting requirements
• Distinguish what the CA statute that was AB 72 “surprise billing” means, how it has been implemented and what protections it gives against unreasonable narrow networks.
• Discuss ACA repeal to repair. Where are we now?
• Identify outcomes and quality, from QPP to QOD modules.
• Recognize trends in neurosurgical GME including in folded fellowships and subspecialization.
• Assess Medicaid in California. Can it be fixed?
