31st Annual Cardiology Update

31st Annual Cardiology Update is organized by University of Michigan Health System-Department of Internal Medicine and will be held from Aug 17 - 19, 2018 at Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island, Michigan, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is particular interest to physicians providing adult primary care and to cardiologists. Other health care professionals, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants who work with cardiology patients, will also find the information helpful. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 12.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
• evaluate and treat heart failure, CAD, valvular heart disease, pulmonary vascular disease, atrial fibrillation, and aortic disease.
• describe newer findings in kidney disease and inflammation.
• discuss strategies for perioperative management.
• discuss new imaging options for viability.
• determine when syncope needs further investigation.
• explain the rationale behind antiplatelet and anticoagulant treatments.
