Pedo at the Beach is organized by The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University and would be held during Sep 29 - Oct 1, 2017 at Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, United States Of America.

The target audience for this medical event for General dentists, dental specialists, auxiliaries and other dental professionals.This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 12.25 CME Credits.

Purpose & Objectives:
The purpose of this course is to update the dental provider on current concepts in the non-surgical and surgical management of dental caries. Dr. Donly will provide a review of the most current techniques for prevention, diagnosis, and management of enamel demineralization. He will also review a wide range of restorative materials and techniques, including risk assessment utilization in decision-making, based on recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s Symposium on Pediatric Restorative Dentistry.
At the conclusion of the course, participants should be able to:
• Perform early diagnosis of enamel demineralization and list the preventive regimens available, as well as appropriate intervention with these agents, using minimally invasive technique.
• Discuss pediatric dentistry standards of care using risk assessment in decision-making
• Describe the newer commercially available resin-based composites and dentin bonding resins and their mechanism of action, and visualize clinical utilization of these materials;
• Recognize the clinical utilization of traditional, photopolymerized glass ionomer cements and compomers, including indications and contraindications
• Discuss the use of stainless steel crowns and zirconia crowns including indications, contraindications, preparation techniques and cementing agents.
