OVERVIEW
Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Innervation of Large Joints is organized by World Academy of Pain Medicine Ultrasonography (WAPMU) and would be held during Jun 24 - 25, 2017 at University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The target audience for this medical event for Physicians in the field of Pain Medicine, PM&R, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Family Practice who have been interested in continuing their education in MSK diagnostics, procedures, regenerative medicine and minimally invasive denervation. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
This is structured as a two-day interactive learning experience that will include both didactic and hands on portions. Each participant will have the opportunity to work with each of our faculty members. We will be utilizing cadaveric specimens during the learning experience.
Objectives :
• Musculoskeletal Ultrasound- anatomy of the shoulder, sacroiliac, hip and knee joints. Intraarticular and periarticular injections. Inraarticular PRP and BMAC.
• Neurosonology- innervation of large joints and its clinical implications: diagnostic blocks, cryoabation, radiofrequency.
