Advanced Neurosonology in Interventional Pain Medicine is organized by World Academy of Pain Medicine Ultrasonography (WAPMU) and would be held during Aug 05 - 06, 2017 at Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas DFW Airport South, Irving, Texas, United States of America. Objectives :
• Advanced Ultrasound Nerve Anatomy of the Lower Extremity- Lumbar plexus- (IliohypogastricNerve, IlioinguinaNerve, Genitofemoralnerve, lateral Cutaneous nerve of thigh, Obturatornerve and Femoral nerve). Saphenous Nerve Anatomy- (Inguinal ligament, Femoral nerve, Saphenous nerve, Hunter’s canal, Sartorius muscle, Infrapatellarbranch and terminal branch). Sacral Plexus-(Superior Gluteus nerve, Inferior Gluteus nerve, Pudendalnerve). Sciatic nerve, Common peronealnerve, Superficial peronealnerve, deep peronealneuropathy, tibialnerve, tarsal tunnel syndrome, suralnerve, Morton neuroma.
• Advanced Ultrasound Nerve Anatomy of the Upper Extremity- Brachial Plexus, Suprascapular, Axillary Radial (spinal groove, PIN), Ulnar (AIN, Carpal tunnel), Medial Ante brachial Cutaneous Nerve.
• Advanced Ultrasound of Nerve Entrapments- Peripheral Nerve Injury Classification, Ultrasound appearance of nerve pathology, Etiology of nerve injury and a case by case approach to nerve injuries.
• Advanced Ultrasound in Non-Neurosurgical Treatments- Analgesticblockage, Neuroablation, Intraoperative assistance, minimally invasive nerve release, Neuromodulation, Steroids (an unknown category), effects on corticosteroids on peripheral nerves, groin pain, pudendalneuralgia, cervical root RFA, thoracic root RFA, brachial plexus chemical ablation, peripheral nerve stimulation, brachial plexus stimulation, occipital nerve stimulation, treatment of post amputation pain with PNS and PNS medial nerve.
