1st International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) South Asian Scientific Conference is organized by International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) and would be held during Aug 3 - 5, 2017 at Hotel Galadari, Nugegoda, Colombo, Srilanka.The target audience for this medical event basically for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physicians.
Conference Aims and Objectives:
To offer an affordable high value Conference that:
• Teaches primary care practitioners in the region about evidence-based respiratory practice that takes account of locally available interventions including diagnostic tools, counselling, drugs and devices
• Enables industry partners and leaders, innovators and early adopters to network, share knowledge and experience and strengthen their collaborations.
• Builds capacity to deliver high quality care that improves lung health in South Asia through expert and relevant teaching about tobacco dependence, asthma, COPD, allergic rhinitis, comorbidities and TB.
• Enhances primary care respiratory research capability through feedback and mentoring essential to improving the detection, prevention and management of respiratory disease in low, middle and high income countries.
• Provides a showcase and opportunity to present respiratory research based on primary and community care and real life experience and data.
• Generates quality abstracts for publication in the IPCRG’s journal published in partnership with Springer Nature Publishing Group, npj Primary Care Respiratory Medicine.
• Provides an opportunity for new and experienced researchers to test out research ideas and present findings in a very friendly and supportive setting amongst peers from around the world.
• Identifies and supports the next generation of leaders, researchers and teachers from South Asia.
• Continues to build the FRESH AIR movement across the world
