OVERVIEW

The conference "4th MR in RT symposium, 2016" is organized by University of Michigan Medical School and will take place from June 18 - 19, 2016 at Biomedical Science Research Building - University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event are basically for Medical Physicists, Radiation Oncologists, Radiologists, and other technical professionals interested in advanced Magnetic Resonance applications in Radiation Therapy. Meeting objectives
- Provide education on MR basics and common applications in Radiation Oncology, including quality assurance of MRI for RT, MRI-only treatment planning, MRI for brachytherapy, and optimization of MRI for Radiation Oncology
- Discuss emerging applications of MRI in Radiation oncology, including “4D” MRI and MRI as a biomarker for prognosis, assessment and individualization of treatment
- Discuss and debate the added value of advanced MRI in Radiation Oncology as well as MR-guided teletherapy
- Provide an interactive forum for presentation and discussion of novel research related to MRI in Radiation Oncology
- Provide an interactive forum for discussion of technical advances with vendors actively interested in MRI in Radiation Oncology
