CBI’s conference on CMS Audit Readiness for PBMs and Plans focuses on developing more robust protocols and applicable strategies to streamline the audit process, mitigate risks and conserve resources.

CMS has progressively increased the number of audits it conducts, so much so that plans must stay in a constant state of ‘audit readiness.’ Now more than ever, healthcare plans are responsible for all FDRs, many of which do not have a standard audit protocol or compliance program in place, continuing to put strain on resources, essentially decreasing day-to-day productivity.
