Cardiac arrhythmias, particularly atrial fibrillation, affect many patients and are a common clinical problem encountered in daily practice. However, as a result of recent advances in basic and clinical research and development of new technology, our understanding of the
mechanisms of arrhythmias and management strategies rapidly evolve. The goal of this course is to present and discuss recent advances in management of cardiac arrhythmias with primary care physicians, internists and cardiologists.
